SC21 objectives

To reduce the number of audits carried out by customers at the same supplier SC21 members will:

• Encourage certification to AS/EN 91XX (Quality Management System) and Nadcap (Special Processes) or equivalent
• Develop a common Technical Oversight process, carried out jointly, that focuses on Products and Processes and is recognised and accepted by all SC21 members

Why do we need an industry Technical Oversight Process?

• Introduce a standard collaborative approach to routine supply chain assessment
• Test quality management systems at a product level
• Reduce duplication of customer audits
