Recognising the need for Scottish based companies in the Aerospace, Defence, Naval and Security Sector to have an effective voice, ADS Scotland was established in 2005 to represent both SME and multinational company members. Today, our members significant contribution to both the Scottish and UK economies is recognised by the policy makers.
ADS sectors contribute significantly to secure Scotland’s domestic, global and future advantage. From technology and exports to apprenticeships and investment, our sectors are vital to Scotland’s economic prosperity and growth.

Our purpose is to deliver real added value by bringing global business opportunities to members, improving manufacturing productivity and efficiency through our SC21 programmes, raising individual company profile and marketing member and sector capability internationally.
Warrick Malcolm – Director ADS Scotland
Warrick joined ADS Scotland after roles in both the public and private sector including the Scottish Government.
Ken Doig – Business Development Manager
Ken joined ADS in July 2024 having worked across the Automotive, Aerospace MRO and Defence industry for the majority of his career. Working with SMEs and large Primes, gaining valuable industry experience both on the shop floor, in Aero Engine Repair and Overhaul and in Business Development and Marketing. He spent 35 years working in the South of England before returning to Scotland in 2021.
Victoria Mills – Executive Assistant
Joining the team in early 2024 after working in both the public and private sectors, Victoria supports both Warrick and Ken in their roles, while overseeing the administration of the Scotland office. She also acts as the secretariat for the ADS Scotland Council, Cross-party Group on Space, and the Aerospace & Defence Industry Leadership Group.
Katie Whyte – Events Manager
Katie joined ADS Scotland in early 2024. She had previously been employed at a large international law firm and has spent the last 20 years in the events industry. Katie supports both strategy and operations for ADS Scotland events in all our sectors to support our members goals.
