The 4th Annual AI Regulation Summit

The year 2026 is a critical “turning point” for AI regulation because it marks the transition from theoretical legal framework to active enforcement. While previous years focused on drafting laws, 2026 is when significant global regulations – most notably the EU AI Act – become legally binding for many organisations. For businesses it means the end of the “wait and see” period and the organisations must now learn to navigate the complexities of international AI policies. The summit organised by City and Financial Global will be bringing together government ministers, senior regulators, and industry leaders to discuss the fast-evolving landscape or artificial intelligence governance. Attendees will gain comprehensive insights into the UK Government’s approach to AI regulation, including updates on the proposed AI Bill and forthcoming policy frameworks, and will also get an expert analysis of different approaches to AI regulation being adopted across the world.

The event will feature a dynamic agenda packed with keynote addresses, expert panels, and interactive breakout sessions, covering crucial topics such as:

  • Sovereign AI and National Security
  • How UK regulators are supporting AI innovation – latest developments and challenges
  • Regulatory considerations – Implications of AI for the SMCR, Consumer Duty, governance and control requirements
  • How will the UK Online Safety Act apply to Generative AI? Practical guide to its implementation in the coming years
  • The EU AI regulation, in particular, the EU AI Act enforcement phase
  • Agentic AI Commerce and Payments

Critical Infrastructure Protection & Resilience Europe

Critical Infrastructure Protection & Resilience Europe brings together leading stakeholders from industry, infrastructure operators, agencies and governments to collaborate on securing Europe’s infrastructure. The ever changing nature of threats, whether natural through climate change, or man-made through terrorism activities, either physical or cyber-attacks, means the need to continually review and update policies, practices and technologies to meet these demands. The conference will build on developing themes by deepening understanding of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and by supporting the development and implementation of frameworks for risk-management, strategic planning and resilient operations. As an exhibitor you can meet leading decision makers from corporate and government establishments tasked with Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience.
