SMEs make up 90% of the ADS Membership and are integral to the success of the UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors.
As our sectors continue to evolve, it is vital that ADS understands the unique priorities and challenges faced by our SME members and we continue to develop and enhance services and resources tailored to their needs. We actively engage with our SME members through our sector teams and membership colleagues, including a new SME Success Manager.
We have a range of support available to members.

SMEs play a vital role in supply chains contributing significantly to their overall competitiveness. The entrepreneurial spirit and agility of our members helps drive innovation and diversity of products with specialised knowledge catering to the unique demands of our sectors.
We have two Special Interest Groups that focus on SME collaboration and insight.
The ADS Defence SME Committee, represents the interests and issues of SMEs within the defence sector and communicating the important contribution they make to the sector.
The ADS Prime & SME Community Group enables collaboration between all supplier size cohorts to improve capabilities to the benefit of the UKI aerospace, defence, security and space markets.
Our aims are to expand this unique workforce capability and national advantage by delivering sector investment and knowledge to the frontiers of advanced manufacturing.
