ADS invites UK industry to express interest in joining an industry delegation to KADEX 2026.
The South Korean defence sector is experiencing significant growth, driven by shifting geopolitical dynamics, increased defence spending, and ongoing military modernisation. President Lee Jae-Myung’s announcement of an 8.2% increase in the 2026 defence budget underscores the country’s commitment to enhanced security and creates new opportunities for international collaboration.
KADEX 2026 will feature 1,600 exhibition booths and increased involvement from the Korean Ministry of Defence. South Korea’s defence procurement pipeline is focused on major maritime and air platform programmers. Market entry requires compliance with offset requirements and is supported by a strong domestic manufacturing base in artillery and armoured vehicles. There is also strong interest in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Counter-UAS solutions, and advanced operational capabilities, including those relevant to ongoing conflicts.
We encourage interested UK companies to register their interest and share their specific areas of focus. This will allow us to tailor the delegation’s objectives and maximise the value of participation at KADEX 2026.
