Join our in person Introduction to UK MoD Procurement Training Workshop which will provide you with an understanding of the UK MoD procurement process under the Procurement Regulations 2024, and how your company can improve how you bid for and manage contracts with the UK MoD.
Defence contracts for the UK were regulated by law under the Defence & Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (DSPCR 2011), until this was repealed via the Procurement Act 2023. The new Procurement Regulations 2024 now govern all public sector procurement, including defence. The law governs how contracts are completed and placed in the defence and security sector. However, the UK MoD have secured certain derogations and exemptions from the overall regulations, and they also have other internal processes which govern how business cases are approved and it is often this process which is largely misunderstood.
Understanding all the regulations, rules and processes involved is therefore vital to ensure your business knows how to work with the UK MoD.
