AUKUS: Opportunity and Challenge for UK Industry
With the AUKUS agreement recently having reached its first anniversary, Renaissance Strategic Advisors presented on the current status of the activity, and provided an overview of the scope of potential opportunities for UK industry as it relates to the headline submarine programme and to additional advanced capabilities. In addition, RSAdvisors provided commentary on how AUKUS is being perceived by stakeholders in the US and Australia where different imperatives drive participation. While the opportunity is significant, the webinar highlights an array of challenges that must be collaboratively overcome by Industry, the acquisition and user communities to maximise the potential that AUKUS represents.
