The Training Sub-Committee of the Export Group for Aerospace, Defence & Dual-Use (www.egad.org.uk) is collaborating with the UK Ministry of Defence to offer a FREE webinar, which is intended to provide further details on the F680 and F1686 systems that are administered by the UK Ministry of Defence.
The UK MoD has set a mandatory requirement for the control of the release by industry of equipment or information with a classification of “OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE” or above, including in their marketing campaigns to foreign end-users. Control of release is, therefore, conducted through the MoD Form 680 application process. Meanwhile, running in parallel to the F680 system, the F1686 process covers instances where a UK company seeks permission to sub-contract a UK Government contract or collaborate with an overseas entity where they would need to be able to share “OFFICIAL – SENSITIVE”, or above, Classified Information.
After a brief introduction by the Chair of EGADD’s Training Sub-Committee, this webinar will feature brief presentations by both the UK MoD Team embedded within the ECJU, who (amongst other things) administer the F680 and F1686 Systems, as well as by the UK MoD’s Directorate of Security & Resilience, who have a significant role in these systems, and then this will lead in to an extensive opportunity for any companies to pose any questions or queries that they may have on the F680 and F1686 systems.
Anyone who is unsure about whether they need an F680 or an F1686 or not, or which one to apply for, this is an excellent opportunity to hear from the officials involved, themselves, and to pose any queries that they may have, so that they can get the best out of the systems.
