Space Security and Defence Committee
WHAT IS THE SPACE SECURITY AND DEFENCE (SDC) COMMITTEE?
The Security and Defence Committee (SDC), is an ADS-UKspace group designed to maintain an overview of all defence and broader security interests affecting the sector, including funding and procurement matters. The committee has good working relations with the MoD and all releveant agencies, including Strategic Command, UK Space Command and Defence Digital. The SDC frequently has guest speakers as appropriate to keep members abreast of latest developments.
GOVERNANCE
The committee meets every quarter and is governed by a Chair from UKspace membership and a Vice Chair from the ADS membership.
