Defence Sector Council (DSC)
WHAT IS THE DEFENCE SECTOR COUNCIL (DSC)?
The Defence Sector Council, chaired by Jeffrey Lewis, Chief Executive and Managing Director Raython UK, comprises of a number of individuals from companies across the defence sector both large and small.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP?
The main purpose of the DSC is to set the strategy for the Defence Sector of ADS, working closely with the Defence Industries Council (DIC) and other relevant stakeholders, including the ADS Security Sector Board.
In addition to policy direction, the DSC acts as a focus for all Defence activity within ADS, including Boards, Committees and Special Interest Groups that have a Defence interest.
The DSC engages with Government ministers in order to ensure that Defence is well understood, that Industry’s position is clear, and that ADS truly reflects the views and aspirations of all of its Members.
HOW DO I JOIN?
This particular group is categorised as a ‘Board or Committee’ ADS Boards and Committees generally operate at the more strategic level and have more specific criteria for joining and limited vacancies for Members to apply for. If you are interested and request to join a Board or Committee it will require further follow up from the group owner to confirm vacancies and suitability.
