AirDropBox representatives will be speaking at this month's Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) UAS Conference entitled ‘Beyond Visual Line of Sight Operations (BVLOS) in the UK', taking place at the RAeS, London (19th and 20th September).

Delegates will hear from both AirDropBox's CEO and Senior Design Engineer on BVLOS Drone Delivery: Methods, Challenges and Solutions.

Launched in 2017, the Air Drop Box system is a safe, cheap and biodegradable parachute delivery system for use in humanitarian aid and general logistics, which is available in several different sizes depending on requirement, or customised on request. With the exception of the Maxi - currently in testing to deliver larger payloads from medium to large aircraft with tail ramps - all its systems can be deployed from a light aircraft without the need to adapt or modify the airframe.

AirDropBox (ADB) have utilised aspects of its Micro box drop system and developed a small payload low altitude delivery system for use with UAVs and drones, which they launched at this year's Farnborough International Airshow (FIA2018).

Through careful redesign and testing, ADB now have a fast opening system that is ideally suited to low altitude drops, matching the flight profile typical of unmanned and autonomous aircraft, whilst also retaining the shock mitigation properties offered by its larger systems.

AirDropBox will also be speaking - and exhibiting - at the Commercial UAV show, London Excel Centre, 14th and 15th November 2018. As well as giving seminars, ADB will be showcasing its full product line up, including its new small payload low altitude delivery system for use with UAVs and Drones, ADB Drone.

Coinciding with the Commercial UAV show, on the 14th and 15th November, ADB will also be exhibiting at the AidEx event in Brussels.

AirDropBox systems have been successfully deployed in 14 countries, including two natural disaster zones from 18 different air frames from Military cargo to rotary wing UAV both onto land and at sea and delivered a variety of goods from electronics & radio communications through to medicines and even fresh eggs. It is very quick and simple to assemble and thanks to a pre-packed and rigged parachute, can be prepared for flight in under six minutes by anyone, without the need for tools or skilled staff.
