WHAT IS THE FINANCE FORUM?
The Finance Forum is a special Interest group for ADS Members and stakeholders involved in finance support functions within their businesses.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP?
The Finance Forum is targeted at finance staff within member companies and aims to provide an information hub that will keep members up to date on general financial issues as well as specific areas of interest. This will mainly be through adding updates from agreed contributors on a regular basis which will provide useful and interesting content for the group that will help them in their day-to-day roles.
In addition, the forum will look to discuss, and provide thought leadership for ADS on matters of concern for our wider sectors and business. This could be on topics such as the role Finance play in Sustainability or the legal implications of Patents and trademarks. The forum would also look to work with other Special Interest Groups where it is felt that a finance input could be of benefit.
Members of the group are invited to attend regular meetings arranged by the Executive Committee, often hosted by organisations of interest within the group, covering specific themes relevant to the host’s capabilities. These will provide networking opportunities and promote business development amongst the members.
