Following the Public Accounts Committee’s release of their report on defence capability and equipment plan today, ADS Chief Executive Paul Everitt said:

“The Ministry of Defence must be provided with a realistic budget to meet the UK’s defence and security priorities. The Integrated Review, the Defence & Security Industrial Strategy and the upcoming spending review must be aligned to deliver an equipment, service and support programme that meets our international commitments and national security ambitions.”

“The UK defence industry and its MOD customer are working hard to improve procurement processes and outcomes. ADS supports a more flexible approach to managing in year spend to avoid unnecessary delays and cost increases.”
