This international on-line event is being jointly organised by the Export Group for Aerospace, Defence & Dual-Use, and Society of Maritime Industries and the Export Controls Australia Group, to promote greater awareness of the potential commercial opportunities there are for Australian and UK firms to do business under the AUKUS initiative, and how they can take advantage of them through Membership of the “Authorised User Community”.
The webinar is linked to the announcement earlier this year of the first Pillar 2 programme under Aukus, related to Uncrewed Undersea Vehicles. This project potentially opens up a veritable wealth of potential commercial opportunities for Australian, British and American organisations involved in any way in this sector, to partner together in the joint development and production of the capabilities being sought and to deliver World-leading capabilities in the Uncrewed Undersea Vehicles sector, but only if they are part of the Authorised User Community.
This webinar will enable Australian and British organisations to identify what the potential defence business opportunities might be for them to do business in this area and to hear about the potential wider commercial benefits that Membership of the Authorised User Community can open up for them, as well as to pose questions to Government officials as well as to those who have already successfully obtained AUC Membership status.
