WATCH BACK ON DEMAND

At the end of October 2023, the Public Procurement Act received Royal Assent and is expected to be implemented by Autumn 2024. The new Act will create a new central digital platform for suppliers which simplifies bidding processes, establishes more flexible commercial frameworks, and makes it easier for smaller businesses to compete.

This webinar played a series of Knowledge Drops designed to provide an overview of the Procurement Act 2023 aimed at SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs), who deliver contracts to the UK public sector, take part in competitive procurements, or new entrants who would like to do so in the future. This was followed by a Q&A with Alex Holden, (DSPCR Procurement Reform, Ministry of Defence).
