WATCH BACK ON DEMAND

This webinar introduced AWE and its renewed commitment to working with UK industry. The UK Government has a policy to maintain a Continuous At-Sea Deterrent, to deter the most severe threats to the UK and our way of life. AWE manages and integrates complex programmes and projects to support this.

The webinar introduced the AWE team currently heading an initiative to widen and deepen AWE's supply chain relationships. This will be essential to the development and manufacture of the UK's upcoming replacement warhead - one of the largest defence programmes of our generation. The AWE team invited ADS members who are attending DSEI to meet them in September and set out plans for regional rountables, to sustain dialogue post DSEI. They also gave an intial introduction to the practicalities of working with AWE, for example procurement policies and regulation.
