Join the Defence Trade Office, British Embassy, Washington DC. for a series of briefings, and 1-2-1 meetings, on doing business with the US Department of Defense (DOD).
They will be accompanied by members of US Army Futures Command (CCDEVCOM – Europe), The London Tech Bridge (A collaborative initiative between US Navy and The Royal Navy), who’ll be presenting their portfolios, outlining capability gaps and discussing future technology requirements.
There will be industry consultants there to share their knowledge and experience of doing business with the DOD – Covering the Foreign Comparative Testing Program (FCT), The Foreign Technology Assessment Support Program (FTAS) and how to leverage IDIQ contracts and OTAs to gain access to DOD funding.
Additionally, there will be an opportunity to hear from a former DOD acquisition chief about his experience working with defence companies, and how in his current role, he is leveraging that experience by assisting companies build next generation technology.
UK MOD representatives (US Based) will be on hand to answer questions regarding defence market strategies and how to protect your intellectual property.
Interested companies should submit a Quad Chart (informational one pager) for review. After the review process is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with appropriate members of the delegation. This document and how to complete it will be sent to you once registered.
Outline of the Day
Registration and networking starts at 08:30 GMT, with presentations beginning at 09:00 GMT. Followed by a Q&A session and 1-2-1 meetings in person with delegation members. Lunch will be served around 12:00 GMT.
