Stratia Cyber are celebrating their ten-year anniversary this year. Founded in 2011, Stratia Cyber was one of the first companies to be successfully assessed and accredited under the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Certified Cyber Security Scheme and it has since gone on to deliver managed services to a diverse range of clients such as The Student Loans Company, the NHS, The Home Office, Commerce, Government and Defence, as well as to private sector household-name brands across manufacturing and security.
Headed by a management team of senior security consultants with a collective cyber security experience of more than 120 years, Stratia Cyber currently has numerous staff certified at the highest level (Lead Practitioner) under the NCSC Certified Professional Scheme and is a CREST Certified Pen Testing company. We are also an IASME Consortium Certification Body and certified for Cyber Essentials Plus and the IASME Gold audited Governance Standard.
Founding Director of Stratia Cyber Paul Maxwell said: “It feels particularly poignant that we are celebrating our ten-year anniversary this month, in a steadily growing cyber security industry in which more and more businesses are recognising the importance of protecting their cyber reputations given that we are living in a more connected world than ever before.”
Lou Mahanty, Managing Director at Stratia Cyber, explains that long before the pandemic their company continued to grow and strengthen organically in spite of having always operated as a remote team. “Of course, we recognise that face-to-face interactions will always be fundamental to some elements of running a business. But at its core, trust is part of our mission; trust in what we do to make safe environments in which businesses can thrive and where we have no option to fail because our clients are trusting us with their ability to survive. Operating as a remote team means that we have been able to adapt seamlessly to changing landscapes over the past decade, and in particular over the last year during which many businesses have been forced to adapt quickly.”
To celebrate their 10 years in the industry Stratia Cyber have created the Stratia Cyber Insights series.
The first edition of SC Insights – Dispersed by design: accelerated adoption of hybrid working models post-pandemic is now live to mark this milestone.
