The UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) comes into force on 1 January 2027, bringing new obligations for businesses importing carbon-intensive goods into the UK. Initially covering aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen, iron and steel, CBAM could have implications for manufacturers across their supply chains, procurement decisions and costs.
But what does this mean for your business, and what should you be doing now?
We are thrilled to be joined by Victoria Priscott, Commercial Director of Inspiring Group, for a practical introduction to UK CBAM covering:
- Understanding the changes and whether your business and imports could be affected
- Identifying the potential impact on your supply chain, procurement and costs
- Preparing for 2027 and planning where your business should focus now
The session will explore the potential impact on businesses and where to focus your preparations, with an opportunity to ask your questions and get practical guidance on the changes ahead.
