Market overview
Since the election in early 2026, the Bangladesh National Party has set out an ambition to refresh the country’s defence doctrine to reflect the evolving nature of warfare and to modernise all branches of the armed forces. Bangladesh sees the UK as a key partner in this effort.
The UK–Bangladesh economic relationship is deep, long-standing, and built on mutual benefit. The Bangladesh defence budget is estimated at approximately USD 3.45 billion for FY 2026–27.
This webinar will provide an overview of the evolving defence landscape, highlight key areas of opportunity for UK industry, and offer insights from in-country experts on engaging effectively in the market.
