Farnborough (23 July 2026) – ADS, the trade association representing the UK’s aerospace, defence, security and space sectors, and the Taiwan Excellence Drone International Business Opportunities Alliance (TEDIBOA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the first formal industrial collaboration between the UK and Taiwan’s drone industries.
The MoU will facilitate a dialogue between the UK and Taiwan covering research and development (R&D) and marketing, participating in each other’s international business expansion plans, and further exploration of cooperative opportunities. The core objective is to promote substantive collaboration and bilateral investment, comprehensively enhancing the drone technologies and global competitiveness of both Taiwan and the UK.
Kevin Craven, CEO of ADS Group, and Jennifer Chuang, President of Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), representing TEDIBOA, officially signed the agreement on the sidelines of Farnborough International Airshow 2026.
Following the ceremony, industry representatives from both sides engaged in business networking, opening new opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
TEDIBOA Chairman Chin-Ping Tsao specifically appointed AIDC President Jennifer Chuang to attend on his behalf, leading the aerospace association and several alliance member companies.
AIDC President Jennifer Chuang stated:
“It is a great honor to secure this collaborative opportunity on behalf of Chairman Tsao and all our members. We have absolute confidence that Taiwan can become the safest, most reliable, and most manufacturing-capable strategic partner for the UK’s aerospace and defence industry in the Asia-Pacific region.”
