In existence for over 90 years and with over 60 years experience in acoustic composites, Tods Technology is the preferred choice of the Royal Navy, for the design and manufacture of sonar domes, acoustic windows, acoustic coatings and other complex structures for surface warships and submarines.

Offering a comprehensive through life solution to our customers including design, manufacture and in-service support, Tods can take an Outline Control Drawing (OCD) and using its in house design team, develop a structurally compliant and if necessary, acoustically transparent component that will be fully optimised for performance against the supplied requirements, before being proven through in-house structural and acoustic test verification.

Anew State of the Art Test/Development centreis fully equipped with a complete range of structural ads acoustic testing facilities, ranging from 5.5m dia wave tank through 7.5m pulse tube to a full structural test machine and deep water pressure test vessel.

Our experienced Engineering team are capable of tvarious design tasks such as full structural design, stress analysis,full acoustic design and analysis as well as RF design and modelling.

Adding our Marine Services divisiongives Tods a fully self-contained, globally transportable repair and maintenance capability that is available for short notice, rapid deployment to wherever our customer needs us.
 
Sitting on a wholly owned 50,000sqm site on Portland and having engineering support offices in Dorchester, Tods holds accreditations in major Quality, Environmental and Cyber Security areas.
