At Oxford Dynamics, we’re focused on cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and precision-driven Robotics. We are involved in various sectors, such as, Space, Security and Defence. We are creating tools and technology that can solve some of the toughest and biggest data processing challenges. Oxford Dynamics was established in 2019 and the company has a growing team of 20.

We secured the first AI-focused Enterprise Agreement Lite with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) worth up to £2m to assist with searching, interrogating and summarising complex data using our AI framework called ‘A Very Intelligent System’, also known as AVIS. Another obtained deal was with the Strategic Defence Review (SDR). AVIS supported the SDR by consolidating and analysing over 8,000 responses from more than 1,700 contributors. AVIS elevated the human-led process and the SDR team to focus on high-value tasks and gather trustworthy, transparent, explained answers.

We also secured a £1m contract with the MoD’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) to design, develop and supply a mobile robot concept demonstrator. The tracked robot, intended to replace people from being the first point of contact in the event of a chemical or biological incident, has been developed for end-customer DEFRA.
