Our mission is to improve and protect the lives of those who protect us, through the development of best-in-class products and services for military and security personnel. We offer high performance ultra-lightweight personal protection solutions, including soldier systems incorporating ballistic helmet shells, body armour plates designed to protect against a range of ammunition threats, and ballistic shields, alongside Bomb Disposal Suits and platform survivability systems. At NP Aerospace, we are continuing to evolve our armour technology. Our Vehicle Systems Services & Spares team has over 30 years of experience in leading complex military vehicle integrations and is responsible for a combined fleet of over 18,000 military and specialist vehicles. NP Aerospace is the Engineering Authority for the UK MoD’s Protected Mobility fleet of 2,000 vehicles under the PMETS contract.
Our composite armour manufacturing facility includes design & FEA, composite presses, autoclave ovens, robot mounted water jet cutter and paint shop. We have a CMM room, a sewing room and an extensive test and validation laboratory including two on-site live firing ballistic ranges able to meet a vast range of requirements. Our 5.73 acre Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares facility allows us to deliver full military vehicle integration, through life support services, repairs and refurbishments. Facilities include vehicle assembly, fabrication, customer support and spares, engineering development, specialist equipment handling, machining and final finishing, and sustainable energy production.
