At MRL, innovation is not just at the heart of everything we do: it is everything we do. We believe the UK could become global leaders in an Innovation Revolution but, in order to achieve that position, the UK must transform the way innovation is done. We must innovate innovation.

OUR MISSION For the UK to Achieve Global Leadership by 2030

The MRL partners are 30+ leading players from industry and academia which have worked with MRL for over 8 years. They are actively involved in the initiative and bring significant expertise moving forward. 

Whilst there are many public sector stakeholders that the development work has been applied to, there is a census to focus on Defence as the primary sector. This is a combination of the UK’s capacity for innovation being the strategic advantage that our adversaries will not have and the unlocking global opportunities for the MRL partners working is the Defence & Security sector.
