Innovation & Design Engineering (IDE) is an independent privately owned company established in 2004 to provide safety analysis and safety case development within highly regulated industries such as Defence, Nuclear and Aerospace.
The continued increase in system complexity has led IDE to add systems engineering as an additional specialty with the drive and desire to bring a system thinking approach to safety thus building upon the traditional failure model to manage the risks of today’s complex systems and systems of systems.
Additionally, over the years IDE has developed high performing teams to deliver projects within defence primes. This extensive network of specialist safety and systems engineers has presented IDE with the opportunity to challenge the traditional project delivery model of resource replacement in favour of an approach that utilises each service providers excess availability and thus releasing capacity from the national skills pool that would otherwise be lost.
