ICOMAT is a UK advanced manufacturing company and University of Bristol spin-out specialising in lightweight structures, advanced composites, automated production and manufacturing industrialisation for aerospace, defence, space and high-performance engineering.

The company combines conventional composite manufacture, tooling, CNC machining, assembly and production engineering with its patented Rapid Tow Shearing technology, which enables defect-free automated fibre steering and high-rate manufacture of optimised composite structures. ICOMAT operates UK manufacturing facilities in Gloucester and Swindon and supports customers from early manufacturing feasibility and process development through demonstrators, qualification, low-rate production and industrial scale-up. 

Its Gloucester facility includes large autoclave, clean-room, automated material cutting, machining, bonding, finishing and test capabilities, supported by an AS9100 quality management system. 
ICOMAT works with UK and international primes, emerging platform companies and space organisations to deliver repeatable, scalable manufacture for demanding structural applications.
