Heathcoat Fabrics Limited has been manufacturing textiles on their site in Tiverton for over 200years.

We are the UK’s largest privately owned technical textile manufacturer, employing over 430 people in our Knitting, Weaving and Dyeing and Finishing areas, all here in Devon.

We supply into many market sectors but in terms of Defence, we:

·        are the UK’s only weavers of parachute fabric for paratrooper, aircraft brake chutes, ejector seat chutes or naval decoys – (we also supply NASA),

·        have been supplying the active element of NATO’s CBRN suits for many years, and

·        have international funding for further Detoxification textiles,

·        also produce advanced material 3D knitted spacers, meshes and woven fabrics for air/tank crew base and tactical wear and kit, multi-spectral camouflage, ballistic plate/helmet textiles.
