Guyson provide advanced surface preparation and precision cleaning solutions for the aerospace and defence industries, supporting both OEM manufacturing and MRO operations. Their range includes manual blast cabinets and fully automated systems, including fully robotic blasting solutions. Guyson’s blast systems are engineered for aerospace applications such as airframe structures, turbine blades, propulsion components, landing gear and additive manufactured or 3D printed parts. They are also perfectly suited for defence applications including the selective removal of conformal coating from PCBs, batch deburring, deflashing, surface treating and applying cosmetic finishes to small metal components, such as fasteners, screws and bolts.

The company also supplies dedicated shot peening systems built to ‘AMS 2432 Computer Controlled Shot Peening’ specification, which enhance fatigue resistance and extend component service life. An essential process within the aerospace and defence industry, with one example being the controlled shot peening of military jet engine components.

Complementing their blasting technologies, Guyson manufacturers a comprehensive line of aqueous and solvent based ultrasonic cleaning equipment, from compact tanks to their multi-stage automated Microsolve systems. These ultrasonic cleaning solutions are ideal for applications such as PCB defluxing, removing cutting fluids from aerospace propellor casing components, precision cleaning of aircraft guidance systems and numerous Mil-Spec electrical connectors and components, reconditioning gearbox components, hydraulic systems and actuators.
