Ethicronics is a Cambridge-based deep-tech company developing technologies to establish trust in electronics hardware across defence, space, and critical infrastructure systems. As modern systems increasingly rely on complex, globally sourced components, ensuring that hardware has not been tampered with, substituted, or degraded has become a critical security challenge.

The company develops advanced hardware assurance capabilities. Ethicronics’ technologies are designed for operation in high-assurance and constrained environments, including air-gapped and mission-critical systems. They are non-invasive, scalable, and compatible with existing engineering and supply chain workflows.

The company has secured approximately $1.5M in non-dilutive funding and has developed technologies up to TRL6, with world leading collaborators. Ethicronics works with industrial partners and public programmes to address emerging challenges in hardware security and supply chain resilience.
