EMI Seals & Gaskets Ltd, is a well-established, UK based AS9100 D, ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 UKAS certified, JOSCAR approved company, that has become integrally involved in the Design, Development and Manufacture of Defence, EV, ATEX and IECEx certified Seals, Gaskets, O Rings, Shielding and Thermal products.

We work closely with various Defence companies, the MOD and test houses around the world, EMI have developed a range of Rubber and Elastomer compounds that comply with the latest test requirements. EMI have spent time and money so that you do not have to, to have these compounds and materials independently tested by Test companies like BASEEFA and RAPRA to ensure that they have their own certification, including tests to meet the latest requirements of IEC 60079-0: 2011 Clause 26.10 and ExTAG DS 2012/011 for Resistance to Light (UV). This not only gives you the confidence that what your buying meets or exceeds the latest test requirements but also means that when bringing a new product to market you may, by designing within certain parameters, produce a product that can be certified without having to go through UV, IP, Thermal or Environmental conditioning, saving you considerable time and money whilst also eliminating the danger that your new product or design might fail or be held up in testing thus ensuring that your new product gets to market as quickly as possible.  

EMI Seals and Gaskets Ltd is unique in that it has successfully married more traditional materials and sealing solutions with the more specialised requirements of Shielding to produce a exclusive range of products that can meet multiple disciplines without the need for multiple materials or designs. From a requirement for a pre-approved IP rated design to a Defence approved LSZH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) Conductive Compound, we will have the solution for you. Using both traditional manufacturing processes and state of the art CNC machinery EMI can offer bespoke options with Def-Stan, Mil Spec, UL, EN and even NSF certified materials. We also have our own in house, free of charge design and development team to assist you, along with pre-development samples. EMI are able to Manufacture parts without the need for tooling, from Dxf files and STP files so therefore reducing your costs and lead times.

·    Mouldings in sponge & solid rubber, both compression & injection.
