Drone Band LTD is a UK technology company developing safe physical counter-UAS effectors for security and defence applications. Its flagship system, the Crown, is a drone-mounted mechanical capture device that physically secures hostile or unauthorised drones on contact and enables controlled recovery of the target platform. This approach reduces collateral risk and supports evidence preservation in urban, critical infrastructure and other sensitive environments where RF, kinetic or explosive methods may be unsuitable or restricted. Drone Band’s systems are designed to complement layered counter-UAS architectures with a selective, recoverable and cost-effective terminal interdiction capability.
