Initially founded in 1853 as Burke Shipping, DSG acquired the historic Belfast operation in 1987. In its early years offering services as Ship’s Agents, DSG Belfast has since then developed services to include Stevedoring/heavy lifting, Customs Clearance , Warehousing and Worldwide logistics.

Our Mission is to provide Safe and Sustainable access to trade and resources. Through investment in infrastructure and skills, and with an emphasis on Health and Safety, we aim to play a positive role in the industries we operate in. A family company that is now steered by the 3rd Generation of the Doyle family and a committed board of directors, DSG fosters a close relationship between its people, and is closely involved in the communities our people are from.

DSG are always there for our customers to speak about how to improve. Having been around for such a long time, we know many of our customers intimately and, in turn, we treat our customer’s businesses with a personal touch.

DSG Belfast plays a prominent role in within clerical and trade enabling departments, having developed leading Customs Clearance and Project Freight Forwarding activities over the years and played a prominent role in Brexit related matters for the group.
