Company Profile

Modern battlefields are increasingly data-rich and fast-moving, yet current interfaces often struggle to present and collate that information without overwhelming crews. Distance Technologies builds mixed-reality systems that project key information directly into the operator’s eyeline. The company has been trialling the technology with the British Army and Specialist Users as part of ongoing vehicle programmes. Backed by investors including Google Ventures, Distance is pushing a simple proposition: better information flow inside and outside the cabin can change how effectively a platform is used.
