Company Profile
The Cleeve Partnership is a recruitment firm, set up by a group of executive recruiters who deliberately avoid the sales led approach to modern hiring and whose purpose is simply to use our many years of knowledge and expertise to help growing businesses succeed. And on the premise that all businesses are made up of people, that means getting the people right. If you do that, everything else follows.
You may already know how hard it is to make the right hire? Once your network is exhausted and you need to go out to strangers to fill the roles you need filling, in the process entrusting your precious business to the hands of someone else, you have got to know the decision you made is the right one and you have got the right person in.
Recruitment costs – we know that, but it doesn’t cost nearly as much as getting the hire wrong. And that is where we step in. We won’t let you go wrong.
Everyone involved at Cleeve has collectively 135 years doing recruiting, so take it from us that we are good at that job. We truly are. Instinct developed over decades, backed up by structured interviewing, referencing and a process designed to make sure only the best ones get through. But more than that, we go out and find your people for you – we don’t sit and wait for them to come to us. And we know the Defence & Aerospace sector intimately and can be thoroughly referenced.
We have recruited roles as diverse as Commercial Director, CTO, Head of Engineering, Operations Director, Business Development Director and Finance Director/CFO. And we recruit across the defence value chain – from traditional platforms and systems integration through to emerging capabilities in autonomous systems, cyber defence, and space.
Whether permanent leadership for transformation programmes or tactical interim appointments to stabilise critical projects (something we excel at), we deliver executives who combine technical credibility with commercial and operational judgement.
Lastly, we understand the unique demands of hiring within your sector; security clearance requirements, the balance between commercial acumen and programme delivery expertise, and the strategic importance of getting senior appointments right first time.
It is our deeply held desire to see SME businesses succeed and stand a chance of growing. And that’s people. And we know people.
