With more than three decades of experience, we design, develop and manufacture intelligent electro-optical tracking and surveillance systems for land and maritime applications from the ground up. Because we are the engineers who design and build our solutions, we also deliver comprehensive training, refurbishment and maintenance to keep your systems mission ready.

Since 2005, Chess Dynamics has supplied equipment, sub-systems and solutions to defence leaders and prime contractors. A majority share of the company was acquired by Cohort plc in 2018, and we have been led by Group Managing Director Andy Smith since 2025.

Our portfolio spans C-UAS, GBAD, land and maritime electro-optical systems, integrated for interoperability and faster decision making. Proud of our legacy and focused on the future, we deliver battlespace-proven technology that helps customers detect, track and defeat complex threats.
