3T Additive Manufacturing is a UK sovereign, pure-play metal additive manufacturing bureau based in Newbury, Berkshire, specialising in Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Founded in 1997 and transformed into a series production manufacturer from 2021, 3T is one of only a handful of companies globally to have achieved genuine series production in metal AM.

Vertically integrated end-to-end from powder handling through printing, heat treatment, CNC machining and inspection – 3T delivers full control of cost, quality and delivery, with no offshoring. This enables up to a 90% lead-time reduction versus traditional casting, alongside performance gains through AM-enabled design evolution.

3T holds AS9100D and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications, serves aerospace, defence, semiconductor and oil & gas customers, and is progressing towards NADCAP accreditation. 3T continue to engage with in UK defence (Project TAMPA Digital Thread Working Group) and the STRATA digital manufacturing consortium.

Acquired by SBO AG (Austria) in August 2025, 3T is positioned as the foundation of SBO’s European Additive Manufacturing Division, backed by capital for capacity expansion. 3T’s mission is “every part, net-zero” — a verified digital carbon passport on every component by 2032.
