As part of our ongoing engagement both within Ukraine and with our Ukrainian counterparts, last week, ADS sponsored the ‘Military Innovations in Contemporary Warfare’ forum in Kyiv.

The event, co-hosted by GLOBSEC and the Central Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the auspices of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, aimed to foster dialogue on military innovation to enhance global stability. Forum insights covered the nature of asymmetric warfare, cognitive resilience, and the role of technology on the frontline.

During the event we were able to attend numerous high-level bilateral meetings with Ukrainian officials, such as the Adviser to the President on Strategic Industries, senior Ministry of Defence stakeholders, and the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry. These engagements led to offers of future support for ADS activities in-country, including test and evaluation (T&E) opportunities and deeper collaboration with Ukraine’s evolving defence industrial base.

ADS and UK industry support to Ukraine is unwavering. We will continue to support these efforts by convening industry colleagues to deliver valuable activities and connections between UK and Ukrainian industry.
