Designed for industry professionals working at the forefront of aviation sustainability, the IATA training course 'Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) – Building a Long-Term Sustainable Aviation Industry' provides a comprehensive, classroom-based learning opportunity during the two-day event.

Upon completion of this course, students can expect to gain a comprehensive understanding of the critical role of SAF in achieving aviation’s net zero carbon emissions by 2050 ambitions, evaluate SAF’s environmental and operational benefits, explore the core elements involved in assessing, procuring, and promoting global SAF adoption, recognise the key stakeholders driving the development of the global SAF ecosystem and address some of the challenges associated with SAF implementation.

The inclusion of this targeted IATA training reflects the Summit’s commitment to not only highlight strategic sustainability themes such as SAF, carbon removal and regulatory readiness but also to offer practical upskilling opportunities for professionals across airlines, regulators, fuel producers, investors and sustainability teams.
