Marshall have been recognised by the Netherlands Ministry of Defence (MoD) for their efforts in support of Netherlands Armed Forces, by making it onto their list of the 25 best reservist employers in the country.
Reservists Michiel Osten and Rob Brugman can be seen celebrating the recognition with Irha Luijk, General Manager Marshall Netherlands, Joseph Autera, Coordinator Support Services and Marco Lafeber, Managed Support Services of Marshall Netherlands.
The Netherlands MoD Reservist Employer of the Year Awards were shared last week via video format, which led to Marshall appearing on the coveted list and formal celebrations taking place at the Marshall Netherlands office in Valkenburg.
Michiel Osten, Lead Field Service Engineer and Reservist commented on the company’s support: “Marshall have always been fully encouraging of my duties as an Armed Forces reservist and go above and beyond to offer me additional support, which is why it was easy to put them forward and submit a nomination for their efforts.”
Marshall employs many reservists across the global company and have publicly pledged their support to the armed forces community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant. By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Marshall pledge to honour two main principles:
no member of the armed forces community should face disadvantage at work or in the community compared to other citizens
in some circumstances special consideration is appropriate for those who have given most, such as the injured or bereaved
