As the process for procuring the British Army’s Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP) in 2025 continues to move forward, recent weeks have seen consortia including ADS members announce their intention to bid.

The programme is intended to take a high tech approach to personnel training, recreating a range of scenarios as part of a solution that will see MOD award a single source contract for 10 years, and which some reports have estimated could be worth more than £1bn over a full 15 year term.

With the winner to be selected in 2025, the first consortia have begun to declare their intention to bid, with two announcements coming in recent weeks.

ADS members Raytheon UK, Rheinmetall and Cervus, together with other partners, have formed the Omnia Training industrial team.

Meanwhile fellow ADS members QinetiQ, KBR and PA Consulting have formed Team Paladin, which announced its intention to bid last week.
