Guest Speaker biography
Cian Heasley is a Principal Consultant and Threat Intelligence Lead at Acumen Cyber, where he helps organisations stay ahead of evolving threats with actionable intelligence and proactive defence strategies. He has extensive experience building and running threat intelligence programmes and establishing threat hunting functions that strengthen resilience against advanced adversaries.
Before joining Acumen, Cian spent three years as Head of Threat at Adarma Security, following earlier roles as a consultant in SIEM onboarding and detection and response. He is a recognised contributor to both MITRE ATT&CK and Sigma, and has delivered talks at leading UK security conferences on topics including the history of ransomware, mobile surveillance applications, and the practical application of threat frameworks.
Cian brings a deep technical understanding of the threat landscape together with hands-on experience across multiple industries, expertise that is highly relevant as the aerospace sector faces increasingly complex and targeted cyber risks.
