ADS, in partnership with the British Embassy in Rome and the Department for Business and Trade, invites UK security companies to submit an expression of interest in a UK Security Trade Mission in Rome on 20 May.
The mission will seek to harness the close relationship between the UK and Italy to present UK capabilities matched to meet Italy’s requirements particularly across the outlined capability areas of focus below.
This mission will give UK companies a unique opportunity to
- Understand the Italian security and landscape
- Meet key government, law enforcement, military, and industry stakeholders
- Explore industrial partnerships and procurement opportunities.
Potential opportunities
- Border Security & Surveillance (UAVs and C-UAVs, Biometrics, Scanning, Anti-spoofing)
- Future of Public Security (Bodycams, Innovative Materials, Cybersecurity, Electronic Monitoring Devices, crowd monitoring, UGVs)
- Digital and Physical Surveillance (CCTV, Sensors, Deployable instruments, AI Video Analytics)
- Intelligence and Investigation Capabilities (Offensive Cyber Technologies, Forensic, Smuggling, Decision Intelligence and Predictive Technologies).

Event format
The mission will consist of a tabletop showcase for UK companies on 20 May, with a networking reception (either on the evening of 19 May or 20 May - tbc).
