Supported by the German Ministry of Defence and co-hosted by Deutsche Messe, DSEI Germany will strengthen alliances across Europe and contribute meaningfully to the global security dialogue.
This new landmark event will showcase cutting-edge military equipment, armaments, technologies, systems, and materials essential to maintaining national defence, fulfilling alliance obligations, and supporting geopolitical stability. The exhibition will help defence industry leaders and their supply chains meet growing demand spurred by the "Zeitenwende", Germany's historic policy shift in response to evolving security challenges.
Market Insight
Germany’s defence sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by streamlined procurement processes and a strong focus on innovation. Following the landmark Trinity House agreement between the UK and Germany - aimed at deepening bilateral defence and security ties - DSEI Germany will offer a strategic platform for UK industry to expand its presence in Europe, establish new partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships with German and broader European defence stakeholders.
In line with this strategic shift, Germany plans to increase defence spending to 3.5% of GDP by 2029. The defence budget is projected to rise from €95 billion in 2025 to €162 billion by 2029, with continued support for Ukraine remaining a key priority.
