ADS, in collaboration with UK Defence Exports (UK Ministry of Defence) and the British Embassy in Ankara are pleased to be organising a UK Defence Trade Mission to Türkiye in February 2026.
This trade mission aims to provide UK companies with the opportunity to:
- Gain knowledge about the Turkish defence sector
- Connect with government, military, and industry representatives
- Explore industrial partnerships and procurement opportunities.
Market Insight
The UK and Türkiye have a longstanding defence cooperation partnership and recent agreements, such as the £8bn Eurofighter Typhoon deal, have reaffirmed the strength of the relationship. Türkiye has the second-largest military in NATO and continues to increase its investment in defence.
The country’s ongoing military modernisation is influenced by regional security developments, the need to upgrade strategic aircraft fleets, and increased demand for advanced defence technologies. We identify that opportunities across the air and land domain offer UK companies the chance to contribute systems and components to Turkish platforms, support NATO interoperability, and explore third-country exports.

Event Format
The mission will consist of an evening reception on 3 February, followed by a tabletop showcase for UK companies on 4 February, featuring networking opportunities with UK and local stakeholders.
