The Office and Business Support Lead is responsible for the effective day-to-day coordination of UKDSC’s office environment and core operational activities.

This partnership is intended as a vehicle to tackle barriers to growth, boost competitiveness and exports and increase the number of high value jobs in the UK.

A hands-on, infrastructure role covering the organisation's core on-premise estate (Active Directory, VMware ESXi, network), while also leading the design and delivery of the migration from on-premise AD to Microsoft Entra.

Reporting to the Group Legal Director, this is a varied and highly visible role that sits at the heart of the organisation. You will support the development and embedding of our compliance framework, helping to ensure that regulatory, legal and contractual obligations are effectively managed across ADS and its subsidiary companies. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the business to provide assurance, maintain compliance oversight and support continuous improvement initiatives.

ADS is the UK trade association for the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors, representing and supporting more than 2,000 UK businesses, from major multinational organisations to small and medium-sized companies across the country. We work at the forefront of industry, creating business opportunities, supporting innovation and growth, and representing the interests of our members. We are seeking an experienced and influential Senior Defence Policy Adviser to play a key role in representing and supporting the UK’s defence sector. You will lead the research, development and communication of ADS’ defence policy priorities, ensuring that industry positions are supported by a strong and credible evidence base. You will proactively identify and shape significant policy issues, including the Defence Industrial Strategy and future defence reviews, while monitoring developments across UK, EU and international defence policy.

ADS operates a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and wider engagement activity to support business development opportunities for members, shape and influence policy, and help increase investment in our sector. We have a requirement for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality business support and executive assistance to the Defence Director, ensuring the Defence team is well coordinated, informed and able to deliver against strategic priorities.
