Farnborough (22 July 2026) – Announced during the Farnborough International Airshow, Hyde Details and Hollygate Aircraft Components, both divisional companies of Hyde Aero Products, have reached major milestones in their SC21 journeys, securing their first gold awards for supply chain excellence.

SC21 is a UK supply chain improvement programme led by ADS, the trade association for the UK’s aerospace, defence, security and space industries, designed to help companies in aerospace, defence and adjacent sectors raise performance, improve competitiveness and build more resilient operations.

By achieving Gold status, Hyde Details and Hollygate Aircraft Components has demonstrated sustained excellence in delivery and quality performance, consistently achieving scores close to 100%.

Founded in 1968 in a small mill in Hyde, Greater Manchester, the company began by manufacturing press tools for products including gas fires. Expanding into the aerospace sector in the 1970s, it has since contributed to a wide range of major high-specification engineering programmes.

Hyde’s SC21 journey began with a Bronze award in 2021, followed by Silver in 2022. Since then, the company has invested heavily in new technologies and embedded a culture of continuous improvement to enhance performance.
