Quarantine to end for Vaccinated US & EU arrivals
This week the Government announced that from 2 August, fully vaccinated travellers from the US and EU (excluding France) will not be required to isolate on arrival in the UK.
The update to travel arrangements covers arrivals from amber list countries in the EU and from the US. The UK will still require pre-departure testing, and a PCR test on or before Day 2 after travellers arrive in the UK.
At the current time, arrivals from France continue to be required to isolate for 10 days.

“This is a welcome and significant step that builds on the success of vaccine programmes in the UK, EU and US.
"Removing the need for visitors from many of our major international partners to isolate when arriving in this country will help to restore our international connections, allow more people to reconnect with friends and family, and strengthen our recovery.
“There is still a long way to go to a full recovery in aviation and aerospace. As we replace onerous isolation requirements with testing, we would encourage the Government to make sure costs for travellers are further reduced to ensure fair access to international travel.”
