Meggitt signs agreements with Air Support SA and Ateliers Bigata SAS
Components and sub-systems supplier for aerospace, defence and energy markets, Meggitt plc, has signed with Air Support SA an MRO for aerospace and engine components for the maintenance of high pressure engine control valves and related equipment, as well as appointing Ateliers Bigata SAS as an approved repair station for fire extinguisher maintenance.
The appointment of Air Support (above) is consistent with Meggitt’s commitment to improving global customer service levels on key engine platforms. Working closely together Meggitt and Air Support will be developing a comprehensive scorecard to support improvements in service levels and reduce turn-around times (TAT) for high pressure engine valves.
To enable this to happen, Air Support will have full access to Meggitt’s support services; including OEM spares supply, technical publications and direct access to Meggitt’s OEM engineering teams.
