Martin-Baker delivers 500th F-35 Ejection Seat

Martin-Baker has now supplied 500 US16E Ejection Seats to Lockheed Martin for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

The completion of these seats has been spread across three production lines: to Fort Worth, to Leonardo Cameri and to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagoya.

Martin-Baker has designed and manufactured ejection and crashworthy seats for nearly 70 years. A family-run business, it has helped save over 7,500 lives during this time and has received 11 Queen’s Awards. The company currently has over 17,000 seats in service.
